My biker gang
I need to make a CD of our Vermont trip. One of the girls gave me her disk and it was created on a Mac, I can't read it. Thankfully, I have my own photos. Unfortunately, I promised to burn them for the folks you see here.
I started my Monet watercolour last night. But I felt like my SIL, when she first started scrapbooking. I recall that she had chosen all her bits and pieces of accessories but was afraid to commit to actually starting the work.
I've done the top left-hand corner of blue and wisps of white cloud. It sits before me, taunting me with its unfinishedness.
I might paint something of my own. I like the zen quality, if I do say so myself, of this photo I took in the spring.
I suppose DJ might have some input as to the composition.

I like the composition - but, as you well know, I tend to like different perspectives.
Last Christmas (and the Christmas before, now that I think about it) one of my brothers gave me paints and a set of canvases... oh how I laughed at this because I can't paint worth a damn.
It is great you are painting as a creative outlet. I wish I was more artistic but I get put off by my lack of talent that I don't even enjoy doing it.
Vic: You might try something else, if you feel an artistic voice. I am not enjoying my lack of painting talent. But someone today told me to pursue. So I will. Just for me.
You write. Keep up with that. That is an art.
